About Swami Ji

 

 

 

-Swami Aparokshanand Saraswati Ji was born on April 15, 1947 and initiated into spiritually in 1969. He did his Masters in Science and is a qualified Rajyogayacharya, Pranacharya and Vyakaranacharya.

- Swami Ji belongs to Gangotri Dham and has inherited the order of Adishankar and traditions of Shivananda Ashram, Rishikesh.

- According to Swami Ji, Yoga is a life of self discipline based on the principle of simple living and high thinking. The body is like a vehicle for the soul. It has certain requirements for its smooth functioning and yoga provides them all, i.e., Lubrication, Recharging of Prana Shakti, Revitalizing the body’s fuels and providing the correct way of living.

- Swami ji has been teaching ways to attain sound health without any medicine for the last 40 years. Swami Ji firmly believes that use of Allopathic medicines have many harmful and undesirable side effects which can be avoided and instead he has been successfully using alternative therapies like Yoga practices, Pranayam, Magneto therapy, Acupressure & Reflexology and Hydrotherapy etc. for the treatment of various ailments. The holistic approach being advocated by him leads to curing of diseases like High Blood Pressure, Heart Trouble, Cervical and lumber Spondylosis, Headache, Spinal problems, Arthritis, Insomnia, Kidney & Liver related problems, Diabetes, Asthma, Allergy, Ulcer and all sorts of stomach disorders.

- In the year 2002 Swami ji set up International Spiritual Health Academy (ISHA) at Rishikesh where he helps and guides numerous persons suffering from lifestyle and incurable diseases by way of Holistic approach of Yoga. A Ten day camp (Retreat) is organized for those suffering from various ailments with tremendous beneficial results for the participants.
